Before first use, soak the pourer in warm, soapy water for 5 minutes. Do not use bleach, abrasive cleaners, or put it in the dishwasher. After washing, rinse thoroughly with cold water.

Ensure the pourer and cork are damp before inserting.

Insert the pourer into the bottle with a slight twist until snug. Typically, three rings of the cork will fit into the bottle.

Some larger bottles (e.g., 1.75L bottles, Absolut vodka) may require all four rings inserted to prevent leaks.

If the bottle opening is too large, create an adapter using the bottle cap.

Priming ensures accurate measurements. Before the first use (and after each cleaning):

Cover the spout opening with your finger.

Quickly turn the bottle upside down.

Release your finger and allow the liquid to flow.

Skipping this step may result in an inaccurate first pour.

No, dishwashers can warp or damage the pourer. Always hand wash with warm soapy water and rinse with cold water.
